Great value and central location near train station and bus depot. Clean and tidy accommodations. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Convenient shared kitchen and living room. Friendly and helpful staff. Delightful showers and storage room. Communal meeting area conducive to meeting and chatting with other guests.

Limited cooking facilities which may not be suitable for more than two people at a time. Unreliable internet connection.

Conveniently located in the town center with easy access from train and bus stations. Plenty of dining options nearby and a supermarket within a short walk. The hostel is surprisingly clean and comfortable, with well-maintained facilities and spacious rooms. Beds are equipped with reading lights, power sockets, and lockers. The kitchen, though small, is well-stocked and offers complimentary tea and coffee. A bonus is the drying room for wet gear.

I had an amazing stay at this cozy and personal hostel. The room was clean, spacious, and the beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect, close to transportation hubs.

The breakfast selection could be improved with more variety.

The location of the hostel is fantastic, with the bus stop just a two-minute walk away. Perfect for exploring the city on foot. the rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable mattresses and big windows offering views of the surrounding area. the hostel also offers a storage room for belongings and the option of both free and premium wifi, making it convenient for digital nomads.

The noise from the nearby pubs and restaurants on the street can get a bit loud at night.

I recently stayed at Black Isle in Inverness for a few nights and had a great experience. The location was perfect, being close to both the railway station and the bus stand. The kitchen was well stocked and usable, and the community area was in good condition. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, making my stay even better. it was an excellent experience and I would definitely stay here again if I return to Inverness.

    Would definitely recommend this hostel.

The drying room for wet gear was a lifesaver after a day of hill walking. the WiFi in the room allowed us to plan our next leg of the trip easily. Short walk to the castle, river Ness, and grocery store. Excellent shops nearby. Convenient location near the bus and train station without any noise disturbance. the staff was friendly and helpful. the beds were comfortable and the rooms were surprisingly spacious. the hostel had a nice dining/hanging out area. the neighbourhood had a great bar round the corner, which seemed connected to the hostel. We highly recommend trying the organic brewed beers from the local Black Isle Brewery.

    Felt lucky, no complaints.

The location of the hostel was prime, being right next to the bus and train stations. It made it super convenient for exploring the city and catching transportation. the lounge area had comfortable seating and a nice ambience, perfect for relaxing after a long day.

There were a few aspects that I did not enjoy during my stay. the showers were incredibly annoying as they would turn off every 15 seconds and required constant reactivation.

The kitchen facilities could use some improvement, as they were not set up well for cooking.
